Shirley Paller Obituary
Mrs. Paller was the valedictorian of the class of 1949 at Humes High School, was a lifetime member of Hadassah, and a member of Baron Hirsch Congregation. She retired in 1993 after a 28-year career at First Tennessee Bank. She enjoyed spending time with her family and watching Memphis Tigers basketball games.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Jennie Shiffman, her husband, Josh Paller, and her sister and brother-in-law, Sylvia and Louis Kirschner.
She is survived by her brother, Dr. Stephen (Lynda) Shiffman, her daughter, Gloria Paller, her son, Barry (Amy) Paller, her grandchildren, Josh (Carrie) Miller, Mindy (Greg) Wilson, Jackie (Justin) Bender, and Jeffrey (Laura) Paller, six great-grandchildren, and nieces & nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Shirley's memory can be made to Baron Hirsch Synagogue, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, The National MS Society, or Memphis Jewish Home & Rehab.

My condolences and prayers to Mrs. Paller's family. Her son, Barry, and I became friends in the early eighties at Schering-Plough. The person that Barry is assures me that she was a very kind and loving lady.

Ms Shirley was one of my favorite patients. The time I spent with her and her family during my home visits will always be some of my treasured memories as a home health nurse. I will forever be grateful for my time with her and her family.
