Phoebe Rowe Obituary

Phoebe Camille Cox Rowe, age 91, resident of Somerville, Tennessee and wife of James Rowe, departed this life Saturday morning, March 16, 2024 at her home.

Phoebe was born August 8, 1932 in Collierville, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Herman P. Cox and Maxine Mosley Cox. She was an antique dealer for many years and enjoyed gardening.

Mrs. Rowe is survived by her husband of 63 years, James Rowe; two daughters, Lora Jane Rowe (Richard) of Memphis, TN and Amy Ellen Hengesteg of Somerville, TN; her son, James Cecil Rowe, Jr. of Los Angeles, CA; her brother, Dan Wayne Cox (Christa) of Memphis, TN; and three grandchildren, Chloe Exene Perkins of Memphis, TN, Rowan Camille Perkins (Lucas Parrish) of Somerville, TN and Esme Sage Perkins (Nadov) of The Netherlands.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Eunice Ellen Hawkins and Linda Allen and three brothers, Ernest Cox, Charles Cox and Ferman Cox.

Arrangements will be provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center and condolences may be left on our online guestbook at www.PeeblesFuneralHome.com.
