Tony Banks Obituary
Tony was a man of many talents and made lots of friends as a musician, barber, and a cook in the Collierville school district. He was an active member of St. James CME Church in Collierville until his health began to fail. He played many instruments as part of the music ministry.
Tony departed this life on Monday, April 1, 2024 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – East in Memphis, TN.
He leaves to cherish his memory, a beloved mother, Mrs. Mildred L. Banks; three brothers, Kenneth Wade Banks, Fred Banks, Jr., and Travis Lang Banks; two sisters, Jacqueline Bolden Bogard, and Wendy A. Banks; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation Saturday, April 6, 2024 at H.C. Jett-H.C. Ford Funeral Home, 203 Washington St., Collierville, TN 38017 from 3-5 pm. Funeral service Sunday, April 7, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at St. James CME Church, 569 Harris St., Collierville, TN 38017. Interment in church cemetery. Rev. Terrence Miller, officiating.
