Jimmy Davis Obituary

Jimmy Don Davis, 62, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at Methodist Olive Branch surrounded by his family.

He was born on February 1, 1962 to Bobby and Sue Davis in Memphis, TN. Jimmy was a travel electrician for 20 years. Traveling to several states installing electrical and security systems. He thrived in the outdoors, seldom seen indoors. Known for his playful spirit, Jimmy delighted in jesting and pulling pranks on others. A skilled tinkerer, he had a knack for dismantling things that functioned perfectly. Jimmy's meticulous nature was evident in his precise organization of every aspect of his life.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Hugh Davis, and his brother, Bobby Alan Davis. Jimmy leaves behind his mother, Sue Brazeale Davis; his daughter, Jessica Rucker (Bo); granddaughters, Lakyn Rucker and Charlee Kate Rucker; two siblings, Kathy Davidson (Brad), Billy Davis (Judy), and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 29, 2024 at 2:00 pm with visitation beginning at 1:00 pm at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum St. Olive Branch, MS 38654.
