I'm deeply saddened to hear about Judy's passing. She was a remarkable woman whose presence left an indelible mark on all who knew her. Judy's passion for tennis, her musical talent on the piano, and her dedication to her faith and teaching recovery were all testaments to her vibrant spirit and unwavering commitment to helping others.
She wasn't just a teacher; she was a beacon of kindness and generosity, always ready to impart wisdom and share the word of God with love and compassion. Judy's infectious laughter and funny jokes brought joy to those around her, making every encounter a cherished memory.
Her impact went beyond words. She played a significant role in my family's life, nurturing my girls with prayers and blessings, guiding them with her love and wisdom. Judy's lessons extended far beyond the tennis court and the piano keys; they were life lessons that will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
In this time of mourning, may you find solace in the memories you shared with Judy and the profound influence she had on your life. Her legacy of kindness, faith, and love will live on in the life's of those she touched. Please accept my deepest condolences, and know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.

Judy White, a long time resident of the Iron Horse Park community of Centerville Ohio served as a Recovery International Group Leader / Area Contact person from as far back ago as the early 1950's until late 2018.
Judy was known to play tennis, won numerous tennis trophies from tournament play and played singles tennis and on doubles teams competitively well into her later years.
Scott Bushbaum visited Judy twice at her home in Centerville Ohio to talk and once to receive a nice collection of Recovery International items she collected including none other than some unique, RI handmade Christmas ornaments.
Judy has donated the collection of her personal RI photos, RI National Conference programs from events from the late 1950's and 1960's hosted at The Drake Hotel Chicago, the Palmer House Chicago, local media cassette tape recordings from some various Dayton area AM radio interviews, an appearance on 'The Donohue Show' and other notable Recovery International collectibles and memorabilia to the care of Area 141 Assistant Area Leader, Scott Bushbaum who delivered those items via UPS to the care of RI CEO Karen Hall and the RI HQ Chicago IL staff to be placed on loan to the Dr. Abraham Low Collection Archives said to be located on file at the University of Illinois in March 2024.
Ms. White will be missed, remembered, and loved for her legacy to Recovery International Area 141, previously known at the time of her devoted service as RI Area 140.
We at Recovery International Area 141 in S. Central Ohio, on behalf of Recovery International Chicago, the San Diego California RI staff community and the State of Kentucky Area 141 Leadership Team all respectfully are sorry for any misgiven and understandably difficult emotions resulting from this sad news.
We offer some endorsing here for having the will for true perseverance, knowing full well the loss of a close ally to our membership who was so well loved and known to us for her contribution to the causes of the mentally ill and those so challenged in S. Central Ohio, Kentucky, Illinois and beyond is by no means an average triviality.
Love and Bless.
In solidarity,
Scott Bushbaum

Julia is a dear friend of mine of 20+years. I met her through Cursillo. We were in a rosary group that met every month in a different person's home. She shared thoughts about how to keep loving our children no matter how things are going
in their lives. I will miss our times together. Amy Bartz
