I worked with Bertha for many years at early voting. She was just wonderful to me and all the other early voting staff. She greeted thousands of people over the years and worked very hard to make voting as easy as possible for everybody. Seeing her was like seeing family. She knew my mother from their lunch club and often told me funny stories about their get togethers. She was just Ms. Bertha, no one else I have ever known is like her and she is loved and missed. Cousin Bertha, you will most definitely be missed for your many loving reflections. Now, behold Him and all other saints who have trusted His gift of salvation until the Lord reunites us all again forevermore. Amen...

My last abd best memory of Ms. Bertha was playing cards and she handed me a mother's day card that I will cherish forever. RIP.

3 weeks ago I said I needed to call you! I was passing your house in SW ATL. It´s been a while since we spoke but you were ALWAYS in my heart and thoughts. One of our last conversations included you asking me who you needed to beat up! You have no idea, but I so appreciated that. Fly high my sweet.
