Jerome Flaute Obituary
FLAUTE, Jerome "Jerry", age 83, of Kettering, Ohio passed away on Friday, May 24, 2024. He is survived by his Daughter; Stephanie Flaute and her husband Stuart Gethner, Brothers; Gene (Suzanne) Flaute, Ned (Sue) Flaute, Norman (Virginia) Flaute, Russ (Keena) Flaute, Doug (Dawn) Flaute, Sisters; Donna (Jeff) Koch, Doris Ryan, and Debbie (Gary) Eifert. Jerry was a lifelong resident of Kettering where he was an Alumni of Chaminade High School and University of Dayton. His commitment extended beyond his hometown, as he dedicated six years of service to the Air National Guard. Jerry was a true entrepreneur, having owned and operated several successful businesses, including a car wash, muffler shop, garage door business, and serving as a car salesman. He left an everlasting mark on those he served and the community he loved. In his final years, Jerry found comfort and companionship at Bethany Village. Jerry will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him, whether as a friend, family member, or colleague. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made Graceworks Lutheran in Jerry's memory. Family to receive friends at 9:30am Friday, June 14, 2024 until time of service at 10:00am at the Calvary Cemetery Chapel; with inurnment to follow.

My fondest memories of our brother-in-law Jerry was taking us frequently for ice cream. He also took Anne and I to our first drive in movie "Flipper" He used to tease us and make jokes We always enjoyed Jerry´s visits I remember watching the moon landing with you and Kathy at your home in Fort Wayne and Apples

In honoring the memory of my beloved father-in-law, Jerry Flaute. It's impossible not to reflect on the profound impact he had on all of our lives. May we find solace in the memories we hold dear and take comfort in knowing that his legacy will continue to inspire and uplift us in the days ahead. Rest in peace, dear father-in-law, knowing that you were loved beyond measure and will be deeply missed.
