I met Lois on my first visit to Spruce Creek while visiting my parents Don and Mary Ann Rearick. She and my mother became good friends so when visiting in later times, I always got to see her. When my mom passed, Lois was on her way probably from GA and upon hearing it stopped by the house immediately that same night. I always made sure to visit with her every time I flew in to see my dad. She remained friends with my dad over the years. Lois and I shared great times over the "all you can eat crab legs" at Red Lobster. I lost contact with her after my dad passed away in 2011. I was sorry to learn of her passing but at least I know her "whereabouts." I hope she and my parents are still having good times together. What a wonderful, loyal friend she was!
