Oh my! I think of Mrs Hunt often. Even when I was a. Student at Westwood, we laughed together. She inspired me to pledge Delta. I ran into her at the library a few years back and of course her first words were, " I guess you´re still smart I see you´re at the library" We laughed agin. We also laughed about her son a lot. I was saddened when he transitioned. May God bless this family, a class act through and through.

My Condolences and Prayers to the Daughter and all the Family of Mrs. Marva Hunt. I was one of the students at Westwood High School (C/O 91) that Mrs. Hunt shared her guidance and love with. But I will never forget Mrs. Hunt stopping to check on me and my Mom after a very bad car accident on Horn Lake Rd. She was a angel then and is now a guardian angel. She will really be missed but she is now reunited with Mr. Hunt and Kylan. I can see Mr. Hunt sitting in front of a canvas painting a beautiful picture as Mrs. Marva Hunt walks into heaven. Kylan is over to the side playing the music (On the Wings of Love) as Mrs. Marva Hunt walks down the golden street. Rest Mrs. Marva Hunt until we meet again......... Yolanda (Jackson) Gailes

I worked with Marva at Riverview Jr. High over 50 years ago. I was a 21 year old new teacher who had just been talked to very unkindly by our principal, Marva came to me and consoled me and apologized for how I had been treated. I have never forgotten her kindness and love in that situation. She was a special lady!

My name is Crystal Monroe, I met Mrs. Hunt at Serenity when I work there. She was so sweet and we kept in touch after I left. She sent me the sweetest text that I will keep forever. My condolences to her daughter and grandchildren. She will be truly missed
