Jack was such a nice guy, always inviting us into the Mt Dora house. Liz and he and my parents would go square dancing both there in Fla and here in Ohio. They had such a nice friendship. I remember this little funny Jack told me and I say it when I am peeling potatoes for Thanksgiving. He said that when he was in grade school the teacher asked him for a vegetable that began with "B". Jack said quickly Batatah. How many times have you heard potato pronounced like that. I have and I think of Jack and his crazy glasses and cool man sideburns when I hear it. Prayers of comfort to the family. He is doing a dosey doe today for sure.
