Mary Hall Obituary
She was born May 2, 1947 in Memphis to Robert Sawyers and Essie Godwin Sawyers. She graduated from Collierville High School and Memphis State College, majoring in Chemistry and Biology. She was a longtime Medical Laboratory Technologist at AEL. She was a member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church. Mary Frances was a frequent volunteer at children's church and Sunday school and feeding ministries. She loved her grandchildren.
Mary Frances is survived by her children, Robbin Hall-Baggett (Scott) and Mary Beth Hall-Krasnove (Seth); grandchildren, Mary Abigail Walker and Emily Josephine Krasnove; and her sister, Barbara Taylor (Rhebon). She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Robert Hall, Jr. and her brother, Joseph Sawyers.
The family will receive friends at visitation on Thursday, September 12 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM, at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN 38119. A funeral service will occur on Friday, September 13 at 1:00 PM, at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family requests donations be directed to Feeding Ministries at St. Luke's UMC.
