Mary Margaret Muller

of Nesbit, MS, passed away Monday, September 30, 2024, surrounded by loved ones. Mary Margaret was born on November 17, 1944, in Memphis, to Thomas and Mary Jane Miller. She attended Immaculate Conception High School and Memphis State University. She completed her undergraduate, Masters and Doctorate from MSU. She found her calling as an educator, teaching on the elementary, high school, and collegiate level. She found a home at East Arkansas Community College teaching History. Her passion for teaching was evident in her commitment to her students, many of which would cite her as a positive influence throughout their lives. She loved her former colleagues at East Arkansas Community College.

Her commitment to the Dallas Cowboys and trivia contests rivaled her passion for teaching. The success of many Thanksgivings would be measured not on the quality of the turkey but rather on the results of her beloved Dallas Cowboys. She enjoyed travelling to see some of her favorite locations from her classes that she taught; one such prominent example was her trip to St. Petersburg and the Hermitage Museum.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Mary Jane Miller as well as her beloved son Andrew Weiner, and her sister-in-law Kathy Miller. She is survived by her loving husband, Don, her sister Ginger Boone (Joe) and brother, Tommy Miller. She is survived by her nieces and nephews Margaret Vazquez, Rachel Boone, Nick Miller, and Thomas Miller. Above all, she was a loving and supportive wife, sister, and aunt.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park, 5668 Poplar, Memphis, TN 38119. Visitation at Memorial Park is Sunday Oct 6 at 12:30pm followed by service at 2:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Le Bonheur Children's Hospital.
