Linda Drescher Obituary

Linda Fay Drescher, 71, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 11, 2024 at Methodist Olive Branch. She was born June 25, 1953, to Jeff and Bonnie Sue George in Hernando. Linda was a cherished member of Brookside Baptist Church. In her younger years, she found joy in reading, but her true passions were animals and shopping. She adored her feline companion, Amber Rose, who will miss her dearly. Linda loved spending time outdoors, feeding the birds and squirrels, and she had a special fondness for cardinals, often saying they were messages from loved ones. She is a retired CNA from a nursing home, and she had a passion for caring for others. Above all, Linda adored her family and friends, enjoying meals and outings together. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jeff and Bonnie Sue George and her brother, Robert Ray George. Linda leaves behind her son, Chad Flowers (Shelly); two sisters, Carolyn Franks and Tenna Taylor, and her granddaughter, Ashley Davidson. Memorial Contributions may be sent to ASPCA, 424 E 92nd St. New York, New York 10128. A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 2:00 pm with visitation beginning at 1:00 pm at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum St. Olive Branch, Ms 38654.

Memories, oh there are so many, a lifetime of memories. We laughed together till tears fell. We cried together when life got a little tough. We shared our hearts most
sacred secrets, knowing they were in a safe place. Thru guy troubles, and things we could not understand about growing up, and thru becoming adults with adult things to learn about we made it thru as we started out... laughing, crying, being there for the other. Even when I had to move away, each time I came home we picked up where we left off as tho we had never been apart. We were more than friends, we were sisters at heart. I miss you terribly. You have always been a very large part of my heart and life, and you always will be. You have, and will always hold that special place in my heart that no one could touch. I love you, Linda, forever and a day, and my love will never fade... for you have been my lifelong friend, sister, confidant, and at times my partner in trouble.
My heart goes out to Linda's family for I know this is a very difficult time for you. My love and my Prayers are toward you.
