Theresa Carter Obituary
Theresa was born on May 1, 1948, to the late James Harold and Billie Jean Graham.
Left to mourn her passing are her husband of 56 years, Curtis Wayne Carter and daughter Regina Christine Carter. She also leaves her sister Barbara Lawrence, 8 nieces and nephews and several extended family members she loved as her own.
Theresa was a long-time member of Northview Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. Later she joined Georgian Hills Baptist Church. She was an avid fan of Memphis Tigers basketball, and also later learned to appreciate Tiger football. She enjoyed attending concerts and various outdoor activities including gardening and she loved finding a great bargain at local thrift stores.
Mrs. Carter was employed by Woodson-Tenent Labs for 22 years.
Family and friends will gather on Friday, October 18 from one o'clock until funeral services begin at two o'clock with a reception to follow until five o'clock all at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens at 3700 N. Germantown Road, Bartlett, Tennessee 38133.
