I have bought many fruits and vegetables from this wonderful man. I am so sorry to hear that. I´ll never be able to do that again. Prayers to the family. I´ll think of him every time I go by where he used to stand.

Always greeted everyone with a genuine, slow easy smile! I remember when he found Shoog dumped as a puppy in the watermelon bins he picked up from. Sure hope Shoog gets to live with family. I can´t even remember how many years he was there, next to our church. He will truly, be missed by the hundreds of community members that stopped by to chat and buy his goods.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. He will be truly missed. He was a talker and I he always let me give Shoog treats. He was a sweetheart man. I will always remember him
