Sorry to hear this RIP Ed. My dad knew Ed and we lived on the lake. I worked for my dad on boats. When I was a kid another kid who I knew, broke into Ed's lake house and started cooking steaks and everything. Ed came home and caught him. He said his name was my name so Ed told him to leave. He called my dad the next day and dad told him breaking into a house? That doesn't sound like my boy and invited Ed to come to the boat shop and meet me. We shook hands and when he was walking away with dad I heard Ed say, that is not the kid that broke in. He only let the kid go because of the name. I got pulled over by a detective and he told me about the kid's tattoo Ed had seen.I knew the tattoo and gave up the kids name and where he lives.I found all this out after it happened and I was accused. I will never forget about Ed meeting me at work.
