John Flower Obituary
John D. Flower, 80, of Monroe, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at Ohio's Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties. He was born in Middletown on April 22, 1944 to parents, Newton and Vivian F. (Grubb) Flower, both of whom preceded him in death. John taught at Oneida School for 35 years, retiring in 1995. John is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Melanie (Snyder) Flower; son, Kevin Flower; daughter, Tonya Flower; grandchildren, Morgan Alexis Deem & Dakota James Deem; brother, Steve (Becky) Flower; sister-in-law, Bobbie Allen; as well as many nieces, nephews, family & friends. Funeral Service will be Thursday, December 12, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown, with Pastor Jeff Motter officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at North Monroe Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Ohio's Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties, 5940 Long Meadow Dr., Franklin, Ohio 45005 - OR - P.A.W.S. Adoption Center, 6302 Crossings Blvd., Monroe, Ohio 45005. So very Sorry for your loss Mr.Flower was my 4th grade Teacher along with both of my sisters Becky and Rachael and my Dad Kenny Norman. I have many fond memories of Mr. Flower. Sending prayers for your family and friends during this difficult time.
