Judith Carles Obituary

Carles, Judith

Beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2024, at the age 83. Born November of 1941 in Fort Wayne, IN, Judy lived a life filled with love, kindness, and an unwavering dedication to her family and friends. Judy graduated from the Parkview Hospital Nursing program in 1963 as a registered nurse, a vocation she followed until her retirement in the year 2000. In June of 1964, she married the love of her life, John Carles. Together, they built a beautiful life and raised two children, Chris Carles (Terri Wordie) and Kelly Carles-Kinch (Mike Kinch). She was the proud grandmother of four grandchildren: Tyler (Elisha) and Adam Carles, and Sarah and Grant Kinch, all of whom brought immense joy to her life. She held a special spot in her heart for her only great-grandchild, Eloise Carles. Judy was known for her warm heart, sharp mind, and deep passion for reading. An avid reader, she cherished her book club and the friendships it fostered. She also had a passionate love of antiques, spending years collecting beautiful pieces of furniture with her husband. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Judy cherished her family above all else. She brought joy and comfort to everyone she met, leaving a lasting impression with her gentle spirit and generous nature. A celebration of Judy's life will be held later in the Spring of 2025. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Aplastic Anemia Association or to Hospice of Southwest Ohio. Judy's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be dearly missed but lovingly remembered for her kindness, strength, and the legacy of love she leaves behind.
