Bush (Singleton), Susan D.

Susan D. Singleton Bush, 55, of Middletown, OH, died Tuesday, December 24, 2024 in Louisville. She had worked many years as a manager in the restaurant industry. She was Baptist by faith. She enjoyed cooking, making bath balms, and making dresses and tutus for little girls. She also could make wonderful cakes. She was a no-nonsense woman who loved God and her family.

She was preceded in death by father, David Singleton; her grandparents, Ressie and Hilbert Smith; and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Chasteen and Roy Bush. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Barry Lee Bush of Middletown, OH; her son, Bradley Ray Bush of Middletown, OH; her mother and father, Joyce and Donald Russell of Louisville; her brothers, David D. Singleton, Scott Singleton, James Robert Singleton (Stacy), and Richard Jason Singleton (Sarah), all of Louisville; her stepsister, Paula Judy (Mike) of Crestwood; and her sister-in-law, Pamela Sue Bush Daniel (Dennis) of Louisville.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 30, 2024 at the Shannon Funeral Service in Shelbyville, KY. Visitation will be 12:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday, December 29, 2024 at the funeral home.
