Floyd Fisk Sr.

Floyd Fisk, Sr. of Coffeeville, MS passed away peacefully Sunday, January 5th, 2025 at 6:55pm. He was at his beloved farm with his wife Mamie and his daughter Pam. Floyd Sr. was 90 years and 11 days young. Floyd Sr. was born 12/25/34 and raised in Yalobusha County, Grenada, MS. He was the only boy in a family of six sisters. His sisters fondly called him "Bo" or "Bit". Floyd Sr. was retired from Firestone Tire and Rubber Company in Memphis, TN and worked at Westbrook Auto as an auto mechanic, as well as serving in the US Army. He was predeceased by his baby sister Bonnie Fisk, his mother Alberta Chapman Fisk, his father Clarence Floyd Fisk, his sister Bernice Dunlap of Copperas Cove Texas, and Edith Koonce of Memphis TN as well as a great grandson Rylee James Fisk. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Mamie A. Fisk, two sons Floyd Fisk, Jr. (Greta) of Anchorage, AK and Terry Wawyne Fisk (Sherry) of Olive Branch, MS, and one daughter, Pamela Fisk Beckham (Billy) of Olive Branch, MS. He also leaves 6 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, three sisters Nell Daughtry of Collierville, TN, Judy Stamper of Corpus Christi, TX, and Claudette White of Corpus Christi, TX, as well as a host of nieces and nephews, all of whom he loved dearly. He loved life and loved all his family. Sadly we were told one of his surviving sisters, Judy Stamper, died January 10th, 2025, 5 days after her brother.
