Settles, Phyllis M., 90, loving daughter, wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother, passed away on Wednesday, January 15th, 2025 at her home in Indiana.

She is survived by her son Bo and daughter-in-law Lillie Heckman, daughter Bambi Settles, son-in-law Roger Bryant, son-in-law Danny Ball, grandson Casey Breeze, granddaughter Autumn Owens, granddaughter Natalie Holbrook, granddaughter Tiffany Capps, granddaughter September Bryant, grandson Dominick Bryant, granddaughter Stormy Bryant, and granddaughter Raven Bryant and their spouses. She is survived by 10 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren and her lifelong friends Anita Ping, Elizabeth Bair and Kathy Donovan as well as her daughter-in-law by marriage and friend, Pat Settles.

She is preceded in death by her father Charles Huddle, mother Ruth Lambert, and step-father Mitchell Lambert, her husband of 32 years, Woodrow Settles, brother Dallas Huddle, daughter Debi Breeze, and son-in-law Ron Breeze and close family friend Don Ball.

Phyllis was a lover of music, black and white movies, card games, animals, and the color yellow, which matched her always vibrant and funny personality. She was and will always be the very beloved matriarch of her family.

In honoring Phyllis' wishes, the family is not holding a service, but send appreciation for all the love and support you have shown.
