To Mark and Kim, I didn´t realize what an adventurous life your father had. I just really remember his smile. He seemed to always be smiling. He will be missed by many people in our community and far afield too. I´m sure Rob, Dad, Uncle Art, and many others were there to greet him as he passed on. You both and your families, have been in our thoughts. Mom said she will miss sitting with him at the Wildcats luncheons. She always spoke highly of Spank and Ginger. Both lovely warm people. God bless you all.

Don was an institution in the Miami Valley. His knowledge of the clark county sporting world was unmatched. He lead the Springfield H.S. hall of fame committee for years with his input and insight. The old timers in the area will never forget his infectious personality. Prayers to Mark and his family.

Condolences to the family. I was the head football coach at Troy High School in the 70's. Had Don many times officiating our game. Definitely a great official but even a better person. Loved him as an official and as a sporting goods representative.
