Charles Ervin Obituary

Charles Leon Ervin went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at the age of 69 on January 21, 2025. He was born on July 6, 1955, in Memphis, Tennessee to Leadrew and Irma Ervin who preceded him in death. An accomplished entrepreneur, Charlie retired as the President of CLE Wood Products, Inc after over 30 years of successful business ownership. His hard work, generosity, and integrity were the hallmarks of his career. Charlie was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church and the Bereans Life Group Class where he made many lasting friendships. He enjoyed planting and tending a large garden, taking cruise vacations, fishing, and spending time in Destin, Florida and Pickwick Lake. Charlie leaves behind his loving and devoted wife of 26 years, Sandra Ervin, who faithfully cared for him throughout his long illness. He is also survived by his son Christopher Ervin, and daughters, Rebecca Finton and Michelle Miller, grandchildren Nathan McKell, Kacie Jenkins, Alexis Harris, Ethan Miller, Seth Ervin, and Hudson Miller, as well as seven great-grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters, Margie Sullivan and Patricia Dickerson, sister-in-law, Glinda Kelley, his mother-in-law, Jean Everett, whom he affectionately called "mom," as well as his beloved dog, Buddy. Charlie will be remembered for his love for the Lord, witty sense of humor, and benevolent stewardship.
