Andrew Ammons Obituary
Born in Maryville, Tennessee, Andy was preceded in death by his father, Donald V. Ammons, mother, Betty L. Ammons, and sister, Melissa Johnson. Andy was a lifelong member of the church of Christ, proud Army veteran, avid reader and history buff, classic film aficionado, and alumnus of Memphis State University.
He leaves behind his brother David, daughters Stephanie and A., two grandsons, as well as numerous friends and extended family.
The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff at Signature HealthCARE of Monteagle Rehab & Wellness Center and Covenant Health HomeCare and Hospice for the care and love provided in Andy's final months.
His family requests that any remembrances be made by kindly donating to the Memphis Library Foundation or The Foundation for the Blount County Public Library.
