Gerard, Sydnie A.

Sydnie A. Gerard age 81 of Baraboo WI and formerly of Enon, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at Oak Park Place in Baraboo, WI. She was born on August 14, 1943, in Spangler, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Max and Hazel (Beacham) Gerard. Sydnie's lifetime career was working for the United States Air Force at Wright Patterson Air Force base near Dayton Ohio, where she spent time traveling and had many friends. She especially enjoyed traveling with her father, a colonel in the Army, and was able to live and go to school; in both Japan and Australia which she enjoyed immensely. She loved riding her bike, reading, gardening and walking her dogs in the park. She was preceded in death by her parents, Max and Hazel Gerard. Survivors include her brother James (Susan) Gerard of Zimmerman MN, and her sister, Lora (Jim) Jones of Merrimac WI, 5 nieces and nephews and 13 great nieces and nephews, along with other relatives and friends. Per Sydnie's request there will be no funeral services held. A celebration of life will be held in the spring.
