Anna Gardiner Obituary
John M. 92, and Anna Lou Gardiner 91, of Springfield, passed away on January 9th and January 22nd, 2025, respectively. They were married on September 19, 1959, and spent 66 years together. John and Anna met when they both worked at Robbins and Myers Company where they spent 38 years until retirement. They had a combined family of six children. John and Anna are survived by their daughter, Debra Lee (Jon) Heisler, two grandchildren; John Gardiner and Jennifer Gardiner; three great grandchildren: Evan, Hayleigh, and Hunter; brother-in-law, Randy Claar (Susan Oneal), several close extended family members, and close friends: Randy Dow, Steve Moebius and Ann Kuhns. They were preceded in death by five children: Terry, Kerry, Denny, and Jim Gardiner, and Cindy (Larry) Davis; four siblings: Wilma Layman, Pat Claar, Roger Binkley, and Joe Binkley. Services for John were held on January 17th. Services for Anna will be held on Wednesday, January 29th at 3:00 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME. The family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. They will be buried at Enon Cemetery. To leave online condolences, please visit www.littletonandrue.com
