Marvin King Obituary

Marvin S King Jr., known as Stewart to his friends & family, passed away on Friday February 28, 2025 at the age of 73. He leaves behind his loving wife Carol, his three sons Andy, Paul (Carla) & Scott; two granddaughters Ayden & Brianna, and his sister Beverly Weatherington (Phil). He lived his life serving as an example for his family and those around him. He made a career with the United States Postal Service and would eventually retire after 40 years of service, instilling a work ethic that all his children would adopt. He was faithfully devoted to his wife in 45 years of marriage, and always put the wellbeing of his family first & foremost. He will be loved and missed by all who knew him. A visitation for Stewart will be held Tuesday, March 11, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133. A funeral will occur Tuesday, March 11, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133. A graveside will occur Tuesday, March 11, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Memphis Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 3700 N Germantown Pkwy, Bartlett, TN 38133.
