Rose L. Reid, 92 of Savannah, Tennessee passed away Sunday March 9, 2025, surrounded by her loving family and caregivers at Riverwick Assisted Living. She was born on November 2, 1932, in Mississippi County, Ozeola, Arkansas and was the daughter of the late George and Josie Jones. She was preceded in death by her spouse, Howard Reid, Two brothers, Curtis Jones, and Clifford Jones: Two sisters, Leona McDonald, and Laverne Mills, and Son n Law Barry Biggs.
She was survived by three daughters, Pam Davis of Jackson, TN, Patsy Yarbro (Steve) of Savannah, TN and Lisa Biggs of Bolivar, TN, and one son, Larry Gamblin of Iuka, MS.
She retired from Harts Bakery in 1972.
In her younger days she enjoyed outdoor sports, camping, and traveling with her family and friends. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. She loved playing the piano for her church, Bolivar Church of God. She enjoyed Bible Study, Arts and Crafts and games with friends. She also enjoyed outings with her Ladies Christian group from Coffeeville, MS.
She was a wonderful Christian lady and a loving devoted wife and mother, always taking her family to church and praying for them.
She had eight grandchildren, Jason Tribble (Darla), Jennifer Wendt, Scott Davis, Brian Gamblin (Jennifer), Nikki Parks, Brittany Green (Brian), Tonya Stroup (Josh), Taylor Yarbro: Fourteen Great- Grandchildren, Two Great -Great-Grandchildren.
She was loved very much by all, and we plan to see her again in heaven one day singing hymns, praising God and walking the streets of gold.
