Nita Lee Millar Beaupre Obituary
She was born in Syracuse NY Sept 9,1933 to Noel Arthur Millar and Connie McCord Millar. She was the eldest of 4 sisters. She was a graduate of Central High School in Syarcuse NY and began her career at Carrier Corporation, right out of secretary school, until 1967. She then became a full-time housewife. After her husband Dolor Roger Beaupre' passed away in 1986, she restarted her career by working for the City of Memphis in the Mayors Action Center and Community Outreach for 10 years. She retired from Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare at 77 because she wanted to enjoy her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by both her parents, Noel and Connie Millar, her husband Dolor Roger Beaupre' and her sister Mrs. Barbara Millar Dannon. She is survived by her son Eric Beaupre' and daughter in law Amy Wager Beaupre' of Germantown, TN, sisters Kay Millar of Salt Lake City Utah and Susan Millar of Plattsburgh NY, and 5 grandchildren, Steven Beaupre' of Long Island, NY, Mrs. Ann Marie Beaupre' Clark of Fulton, NY, Grant Beaupre' and Lawson Beaupre' of Germantown, TN, and Matt Parker of Germantown, TN. She is also survived by many great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Friday April 25, 2025, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. and funeral services will be held Saturday April 26, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home & Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to Memphis Zoological Society, Salvation Army or the Page Robbins Adult Day Center.
