Patricia Ann (Davis) Zink, age 83, went to be with Jesus on May 9, 2025. She is now restored to full health and joyfully reunited with many loved ones she dearly missed.
Born and raised in Port Huron, Michigan, Patricia graduated from Port Huron High School and went on to earn her nursing degree from Harper Hospital School of Nursing in 1963. A dedicated and compassionate nurse, Patricia cared for others throughout her life—offering advice, comfort, and kindness up to her final days.
On July 30, 1966, she married Gary Arthur Zink. They began their married life in San Francisco before returning to Michigan to raise their family. Patricia worked at Hurley Medical Center in Oncology and, after retirement, continued to serve others through travel nursing—a role she truly loved.
Patricia was deeply devoted to her family, and nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her grandchildren. She had a zest for life and a warm, welcoming spirit that made everyone feel like family. Her favorite things included meeting new people, playing cards, golfing, attending church, reading, watching Hallmark movies and making Christmas candy. She was known as the life of the party with endless energy and a heart full of love.
Patricia is survived by her daughters, Lori (Bruce) Shrader, Kimberly (Paul) Rivera and Marci Zink; her cherished grandchildren, Bryan (Amanda) Zink, Kyle Zink, Heather Zink, Zee Zink, Reese Rivera, Andrew Rivera, Matthew Rivera, Emma Shrader, Hannah Tousey and Tate Tousey; great-grandchildren, Nora and Remy Zink; and nephews, Terry (Christine) Davis and Jeff (Beth) Davis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Zink; her son, Michael Zink; her stepson, Richard Zink; her mother, Ila Jean Davis; her brother, Robert Davis; and her son-in-law, Troy Tousey.
Patricia's legacy of love, faith, and compassion will live on in all who were blessed to know her.
