Harold Honeycutt Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the passing of Harold "Glenn" Honeycutt, 92, of New Site, MS. He passed peacefully at home on May 12, 2025. Born May 2, 1933, in Belzoni, MS, he spent most of his life in the Magnolia state. He is survived by his daughter, Patricia Cooper, Son-in-Law Dan Cooper, grandchildren Andrea Robertson (Donnie), Lee Cooper (Gypsy), Stephen Cooper (Alanna), Bridgett Miskelly, 8 great grandchildren, and special friend Jimmie Whitehead. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Honeycutt, and wife Tonia Honeycutt. Glenn served in the Army and retired from the United States Postal Service. At an early age, Glenn developed a passion for music. He recorded multiple records at Sun Studios in Memphis, TN, and was inducted into the Rockabilly Hall of Fame. He always enjoyed playing and singing for the elderly at multiple nursing homes. A celebration of life will be held in honor of Glenn Honeycutt on June 1st at 1424 Stone Gate Dr, Hernando, MS 38632. 1pm-4pm: Time has been set aside for reminiscing and fellowship. 4pm: A remembrance service will take place.
