David Paul Vollmer

David Vollmer, 84, of Oakland, Tennessee, entered the presence of the Lord on May 28, 2025. David was born on May 24, 1941, in Chicago, Illinois. He proudly served in the United States Navy and later became a devoted member and employee of Redeemer Evangelical Church in Collierville, Tennessee, where his faith and service were deeply felt by those around him. David was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 41 years, Sandra Vollmer, and by his parents, Harry and Louise Vollmer. He is survived by his two sons, A.J. Vollmer (Shannon) and Jeffrey Vollmer (Kelly), along with his cherished granddaughters, Emma Jane and Hannah. He is also survived by his sister, Barbara Fox and his brother, Steve Vollmer (Evonne). David's servant's heart, unwavering faith, and deep love for his family and community will be dearly missed. His legacy of love and service lives on. A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 7th at Redeemer Evangelical Church located at 3100 S Houston Levee Rd at 2:00pm.
