Mary Glatt Obituary

Mary Jane Phillips Glatt, 97, of Bartlett, TN, passed away on June 21, 2025. She was a graduate of Tech High School. After graduation she worked for DDA and dedicated her life to her family and community. She was a proud member of Bartlett United Methodist Church, a founding volunteer at St. Francis Bartlett for ten years, and a lover of tap dancing (the Steppin Out Dancers). She is survived by her grandson, Barry Carmichael, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Mrs. Glatt was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Glatt, daughters, Barbara Carmichael and Bettye Glatt, by her sisters Beatrice Sims and Lois Ryerson, and her brothers, Lawrence (Bo) Phillips and Tommy Phillips. Mrs. Glatt's legacy of love, kindness, and devotion will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed. Visitation will be 1 p.m. Saturday, June 28 until service begins at 2 p.m. at Forest Hill East Funeral Home. Interment will be in Memphis Memory Gardens.
