Billy Huey Obituary

Billy Glenn Huey April 2, 1940 – July 4, 2025 Billy Glenn Huey, 85, of Ecru, Mississippi, passed away peacefully at his home on July 4, 2025. Born on April 2, 1940, in Ecru, Billy was the only child of the late John W. Huey and Hortense Russell Huey. He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1961 to 1963. Billy spent his life devoted not only to his family but also to his faith. A lifelong servant in the church, he dedicated himself to ministering in nursing homes, visiting the sick, and sharing encouragement with those in need. He was a long-standing member of Harvest Time Church of God. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 44 years, Margaret Huey; his daughter, Missy Bryant; and his parents. He is survived by his children: Glenn Huey (Cheryl), Pete Huey (Brenda), Carlious McKlemurry (Lisa), Mike McKlemurry, Joey McKlemurry, and Wendy King (Tyrone), as well as a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A private graveside service for immediate family will be held at Forrest Hill Cemetery on Whitten Road in Memphis, Tennessee.
