Chad R. Ray

Plymouth , MA - Chad Ray, 53 of Plymouth Massachusetts passed away unexpectedly in his home on July 1, 2025.

Chad was born and raised in Athol, MA. Chad attended Athol schools and graduated Class of 1991. After graduating Chad served in the United States Air Force where he was stationed in Utah and had a short duty in Columbia. After discharge he went on to study at Mt. Wachusett Community college and Georgia state. He was a police officer in Nantucket and went on to work for the United States Postal Service.

Chad leaves behind both parents, Patricia Provencher of Norwalk, CT and Robert and Susan Ray of Athol, MA. His sister, Erica Gabrenas (Justin). His 3 nieces, Avery Gabrenas, Taylor Gabrenas, Cassandra Bok (Matthew.) His great niece and nephew, Ariana and Anthony Rivera all of Connecticut.

A brief Service will be held Friday, July 18th at 10am at the American Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Winchendon MA.
