Fort Myers, FL - Leonard F. Haggerty, 82, of Fort Meyers, FL died peacefully July 4, 2025, at the Holyoke Medical Center. He was born in New York City on February 13, 1943, the son of Leonard J. and Helen (Graves) Haggerty. Len attended local schools in Greenfield and was a graduate of Greenfield High School, Class of 1961.

He served in the United States Naval Air in 1961 for four years until his honorable discharge.

Len was owner and operator of two local Mobile stations on the Mohawk Trail and on Bernardston Road in Greenfield for many years before his retirement.

Len was always the life of the party! He never saw food that was not his "favorite"! Lenny enjoyed stock car racing in Riverside Park in Agawam, MA and Lebanon Valley, NY. He also enjoyed boating, motorcycling riding, corn hole and many activities at his FL resort.

Lenny was a life member of the Greenfield Lodge of Elks and a former member of the First Congregational Church in Greenfield.

Besides his beloved wife of twenty eight years, Laura, Leonard leaves his children, Leonard P. Haggerty and his wife Jennifer of Belchertown, MA, Lori Toye and her husband Brendan of Watertown, MA, Corey Caron and his wife Erin of Suffield, CT and Andrew Woodland and his wife Teri of Northampton, MA; nine grandchildren, Izabella, Vivienza, Garvin, Brendan, John, Kaitlyn, Lillian, Emily and Harrison; and a brother, Lyle Haggerty and his wife Eileen of Florida.

A celebration of life will be held August 13th at 11am at the Kostanski Funeral Home, 220 Federal Street, Greenfield.
