Leslie Ann Iredell 1952 ~ 2025

Hadley, MA - We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Leslie Iredell of Hadley from a fall in her home.

Leslie was born in Stamford Ct and graduated from Wheaton High School in Silver Spring, MD.

For many years she worked in the art field, doing special French matting and framing for important pieces in the Boston Museum of Fine Arts collections. She also had her own framing business for years and was an accomplished artist in several mediums and once displayed her art at a show at the Hadley library and in Newton.

She was an important figure in the lives of many children and their families as she served as their nanny over many years. She was in their lives up until her death and still an important friend to them. Also, while in the Boston area, she volunteered for years at the Shriner's Hospital.

She is survived by her siblings, Lynn Friel and her family of Richmond Virginia, Leigh Doody and her family of Marlborough NH, Gary Iredell of Somerville MA in addition to many nieces and nephews and her beloved dog Joy who was by her side until the end. She was predeceased by the love of her life, Tom Touchette, also of Hadley.

Her family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to all those caregivers associated with the medical staff at Mass General Cooley Dickenson Hospital, as well as those associated with Cancer Connections who provided wonderful services such as massages to Leslie throughout her illness.

Leslie had many, many friends both far and wide who supported her throughout the last 5 years through her cancer treatments, especially after the premature death of her husband Tom. The Community of Hadley was such an important part of her life.
