Glenn Stroupe Obituary

Glenn Stroupe, 82, passed away on September 20, 2025 at his home in Southhaven, Mississippi. Mr. Stroupe was a proud veteran of the United States Army and served his tour of duty in the early 1960s in Germany. He sold real estate in the De Soto County area for 40 years and took great pride in the fact he was a well respected realtor for decades. Mr. Stroupe is preceded in death by his father Wade Stroupe, his mother Virginia Stroupe. Two siblings, his brother Vernon Stroupe and a sister Bonnie Jordan. Most devastating to him were the losses of his wife, Linda Stroupe and his daughter, Paula Tidwell. Mr. Stroupe leaves behind a daughter, Sandy Clement. Two grandsons Bryan Hughes and Jeffrey Tidwell. Two great grandchildren, Jacob Hughes and Shelby Hughes. He also leaves one sibling, his brother, Billy Stroupe. Mr. Stroupe will be sorely missed by so many other family members and friends. As his daughters used to say, " Daddy hangs the moon." May he watch over us now. I just had a wonderful visit with Mr Glenn on the Thursday before his passing.. He was in an AMAZING MOOD and telling his adventurous stories.. We reminisced about things that happened in Southaven 30+ years ago.. His cargiver {Angie Showes} fixed us a great lunch and we had the best time.. He was very sick but in GREAT SPIRITS.. Mr Glenn you will be greatly missed by so many..

Mr. Glenn was a good friend of mine for 30 years. I thought the world of him. We talked on the phone all the time.
