I always enjoyed Doug´s dynamic personality. We worked together closely when he tried to make a difference in the Georgia Legislature as a representative from Avondale Estates.
A fond memory is him balancing on his crutches as he swung a bat, hitting carpenter bees in his backyard.

We missed our association with Doug in recent years. He has always been a much valued friend with so many outstanding talents and great counsel. He personally made incredible contributions to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in his generous commitments of time and direction, as well as being a kind and loving friend. Rest in peace, Doug. You are so loved, Max & Debi Kimball

So sorry to hear about Doug. My sincere condolences to his family. He was such a special friend for many years when he worked with aftco and then on his own. Will be deeply missed
