Stephen D. Frost

Easthampton, MA - Stephen David Frost passed peacefully on October 31, 2025, at BSMC Franklin Med Center, surrounded by his daughters and sister. Steve (Dad, Dzideau) was born on September 10, 1949, in Northampton, to Helen and Gerald R. Frost, Sr. Steve graduated from Easthampton High School and Western New England College with a Bachelor of Business in accounting. He held many amazing jobs over the course of his lifetime. He was an auditor for the federal government, a Federal Air Marshall, a police officer in Easthampton, and an auditor for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Dad enjoyed trips to Boston, the Red Sox, Celtics, and Patriots. He loved vacationing in Maine, swimming out deep in the ocean and at the Y, and a good seafood dinner with a cold beer. His greatest love was spending time with his family. He played cribbage and man, oh man, was he a wiz with numbers. He could always be counted on for help with anything mathematical or mechanical and was meticulously organized and detailed. Steve leaves behind his two daughters Cristie P. Frost, of San Antonio, TX, and Carrie A. Frost of Maryland, his sister Sheila Kennedy and brother-in-law, David, of Easthampton; two grandchildren, Anthony and Jada, and a great-grandson, Izaiah, all in Texas; two nephews, Keith Frost and Gerald R. Frost, III, of MA, several cousins, and a great friend and caregiver, Sherri Mulholland of Northampton, as well as his former spouses, Denise Kain and Mary Jane Schroeder. He was predeceased by his parents and his older brother, Gerald R. Frost, Jr. The family would like to thank his kind caregivers, Sherri and Barbara, and the amazing staff at BSMC Franklin Hospital. All services will be private and handled by Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home in Holyoke.
