Freiberger (Welch), Jennifer Lynn "Jennie"

Jennifer L. Freiberger

February 3, 1965 – December 3, 2025

Freiberger, Jennifer (Jennie Welch) of Kettering Ohio passed away Wednesday morning, December 3rd, due to complications from pancreatic cancer. She was 60 years young. Jennie was a daughter, a wife, a mother, and grandmother. She loved gardening, the music of U2, art, writing, animals, spending time with friends and family. She is preceded in death by her parents James and Jane Welch. She will be greatly missed by those she left behind, her husband Kevin, daughters Bryn (Brian) Grimes, Samantha Freiberger, sister Joan Welch, grandson Isaac Grimes, as well as a host of extended family and friends. Services to be held at Miami Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship at a later date.

I remember Jennie as kind, down to earth, smart,, friendly. Thank you for letting me spend some time with you as your teacher at Bethel. If you look up quality in the dictionary-------there will be Jennie. HEAVEN just gained another superb soul.

Jennie was my Ex Sister in law I met her in 1989 She was full of spunk,and Joy .she was a great mother to her two beautiful Daughters .she was stern and to the point .she was great person I will always remember her R.I.P

Dear Kevin and family, My heart is breaking for all of you. I worked with Jennie in accounting at Hazco Services for many years. We were a great team. She loved you all so much and your little Grandson was so special. I am so sorry for your loss. She was just saying she only had 3 treatments left, so I thought she was doing ok. Cancer sucks!!! You all are in my prayers. I am so sorry for your loss.
