Heroic. Paula and John have been heroic not letting the tragedy of losing young John in the line of duty stop them from making a difference, a huge life-saving difference, in our community. The John P. Kalaman Memorial Blood Drive was always a highlight of my year when I was working at the blood center. I got to know Paula between serving juice and cookies and setting her up with media interviews. She was always gracious even when tired. Young John would have been so proud of his mom and dad, to see how they helped save lives after he lost his own. Now mother and son can rest together with our Heavenly Father, two lives well-lived. I'm so sad she has passed. Rest in peace Paula. Prayers for peace and comfort to John and family.

Paula was a great lady and friend to all that knew her. May God´s Holy Spirit comfort John, the family and friends. She was a wonderful supporter of Law Enforcement and the Centerville community. She wil be missed by all that knew her.
