Theodore "Terry" Morgan

Croydon, NH - Terry Morgan, who passed on December 18, 2025, was born on September 11, 1949 in Claremont, NH to Theodore L. Morgan, Sr. and Virginia (Nichols) Morgan. As a child he lived in Newport, NH with his parents and sisters, Sue and Donna. He attended schools in Newport, where he was a fun loving friend to many. Terry moved to Croydon, NH in 1979 to a house he lovingly renovated. Terry married his wife Jane (Truswell) Morgan on October 17, 1981. Together they enjoyed many adventures traveling all over New England and to England to visit Jane's family.

Terry and Jane welcomed 2 sons, Adam, on August 30, 1984, and Ben, on September 30, 1988. Both boys attended local schools, enjoyed sports and being outside.

Terry was a highly respected builder. He enjoyed his work and befriended many of his clients, coworkers and co-contractors. He loved working on the family home and undertook many beautiful projects.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman, he and his wife Jane spent much time fishing from their boat all over New Hampshire. A favorite place was Lake Umbagog in northern NH where they fished for bass.

As well as his dedication to his work building and renovating many homes in the area, Terry was also best known for his ready sense of humor and friendliness.

Surviving family members include his wife of 44 years, Jane and son Adam of Croydon.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, December 29, 2025 from 3 PM to 5 PM at Newton-Bartlett Funeral Home, 42 Main Street, Newport, NH.
