Cheryl Tutt Obituary

Cheryl Tutt

Weathersfield Bow, VT - Cheryl (Card) Tutt passed away peacefully early in the morning of January 23rd, 2026. She passed into God's eternal kingdom to be with her beloved husband, Henry.

Born on the 11th of February, 1944 in Greenfield, Massachusetts, Cheryl exuded warmth, and approached her life with her family always at the forefront. She lived the majority of her young life in West Barnet, VT at "the farm on the top of the hill." She would often tell stories of the time she shared with her family, and the large family gatherings.

Alongside her husband, the couple created their dream life that they coveted. Henry and Cheryl built the house they raised their family in from the ground up in Weathersfield, VT, and remained there for the entirety of their lives. Family and friends who would enter their home, would feel an immense sense of comfort and love.

She considered her biggest accomplishment to be raising her two boys, Michael and Christopher. She was their biggest supporter, and just their presence would put a smile on her face. Regardless of which son she was talking to, she would always greet them with "my favorite boy."

A true caregiver at heart, Cheryl spent her adult years as a medical assistant, helping take care of patients with her warm demeanor. Upon retirement, her and Henry would travel around the world and take in all of what this world has to offer. Often to locations where the beer would flow freely.

Cheryl's memory lives on through her sons, Michael John Tutt (Freda Tutt) and Christopher Alan Tutt (Julie Tutt), brother Timothy Card (Elizabeth Morrill), her beloved grandchildren, Jordan Tutt, Savannah Tutt, Christopher Tutt Jr., Jon Passaretti, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Cheryl is predeceased by her husband, Henry Tutt, her parents, Margaret (Strobridge) Card and John Card, and her brother, Jeffrey Card.

A burial ceremony is planned to take place in the late Spring at the West Barnet Cemetery in West Barnet, VT, followed by a celebration of life at one of Cheryl's favorite places, Harpoon Brewery in Windsor, VT.

The family would like to thank the Arbors of Bedford for their compassionate care and in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
