Dorothy Fuller Obituary

Dorothy Marilyn Fuller

Largo, FL - Dorothy Marilyn Fuller (November 5, 1937 – January 28, 2026) Dorothy, lovingly known to her family as "Polka Dotty," passed peacefully in Largo, Florida. She was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and grew up in Winthrop, where she attended Winthrop High School. Shortly thereafter, she met Ronald Fuller, and they married in 1955. Together they built a beautiful life in New Hampshire, where they raised their four children: Ronald, Debbie, Steven, and Wendy.

Dorothy worked at the New Hampshire State Prison as a secretary in the maintenance department. She retired in 1987 and later moved to Florida, embracing the next chapter of her life. She was an active member of both the American Legion and the VFW.

She was a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She loved taking her grandchildren to Disney World and Cypress Gardens, where she delighted in dressing them up as Southern Belles a tradition that brought her great joy. Dorothy found happiness in life's simple pleasures: jelly donuts from Dunkin' Donuts, getting her nails done, and happy hour with her husband.

Dorothy is survived by her husband, Ronald; her children, Ronnie, Steven, and Wendy; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter, Debbie; her brothers, Bob, Ted, and Lester Johnson; and her parents, Gladys and Reginald Johnson. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Dorothy's memory to your local animal shelter, honoring her lifelong love for animals. The family would also like to thank Hospice for their outstanding and compassionate care. A private celebration of life will be held in the spring.
