Ann E. LeBrun

Belchertown, MA - Ann Elizabeth (Connally) LeBrun, passed away on February 12, 2026, at the age of 63. Born on August 17, 1962, in Holyoke, Massachusetts, Ann enriched the lives of many with her warmth, compassion, and unwavering commitment to family and community.

Ann was preceded in death by her beloved infant son, Sean Michael, in 2001, and her parents, John "Jack" Joseph Connally and Ann (Flanagan) Connally. She will be dearly missed by her husband of 42 years, Will LeBrun, and their three children: William LeBrun and Hilary of Westfield, Courtney LeBrun and Tom Marks of Windsor Locks, CT, and John LeBrun and Sara of Quincy. Ann took great joy in her role as a grandmother to William, Callum, and Cormac LeBrun. She also leaves behind her loving siblings: Jackie Connally of Medford, Mary Chase and Don of Belair, MD, Mike Connally and Sheila of Westfield, and Meghan Shea and Chris of Holyoke; as well as her cherished nieces and nephews: Cullen, Gillian, Conor, Declan, DiDi, Jack, Riley, and Rory; her aunt, Kay Jerome of Pittsfield; and many cousins, extended family, and dear friends.

Professionally, Ann was the Nursing Director for Inpatient Services at Mass General Brigham and Cooley Dickinson Hospital, where she demonstrated unwavering dedication to her patients and staff.

Ann was a volunteering member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, and hosting- especially for Christmas. She could always be found by the beach or the pool; basking in the sun with a good book in hand.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, and again from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Belchertown. My heartfelt condolences to Ann´s family during this terrible time. Ann was a beacon of light at CDH and her presense will be missed. She was a cool head in the chaos, willing to help out, quick with words of comfort and wisdom, and dealt fairly with staff. She was one of a kind, and I am so fortunate to have known her.

Thank you Ann for always believing in me even when others did not. You saw my potential before I did when I first had the pleasure of meeting you in 2019 in our interview together. We connected quickly and you offered me a position I fell in love with. Starting off as a float PCA and going through nursing school you saw me grow into a nurse and at the end your last gift to me was awarding me the position of float RN
You are going to be so incredibly missed by everyone at Cooley and of course your amazing family.
