Priscilla Bond Banker, 94, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2026, at her assisted living facility in Concord, New Hampshire, following a month-long battle with pneumonia.

She was born on April 20, 1931, in Dumont, New Jersey, to Laurence and Ruth Bond. Priscilla grew up with a strong sense of family, hard work, responsibility, and dedication to learning-values that shaped her life and work.

Priscilla graduated from Thetford Academy in Thetford, Vermont, in 1949 and went on to earn an Associate's Degree in Secretarial Science and Accounting from Northampton Commercial College. She built a long and respected professional career in bookkeeping, serving several businesses throughout the Upper Valley, including her husband's businesses and Art Bennett's Ski Shop. Known for her precision, reliability, and integrity, she took great pride in her work.

Deeply committed to education and her community, Priscilla served for many years as a Trustee on the Thetford Academy Board of Education, where her thoughtful stewardship and dedication left a lasting impact.

In 1952, she married Richard Banker, and together they shared 59 years of marriage until his passing in 2011. She was also predeceased by sons, Brian and Gregory, and by her sisters, Carolyn Waterman and Sally Crowley.

Priscilla is survived by her sons, Blair and Brett; many nieces and nephews; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren, all of whom were a source of great pride and joy throughout her life.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at the Thetford Hill Church beginning at 11 am with a reception to follow in Thetford Center.

Priscilla will be remembered for her quiet strength, steadfast dedication to family, large holiday gatherings with nieces and nephews, her family's sporting activities, her commitment to her community, and a life marked by service, empathy, compassion and love.
