So I am Brenda Jobst´s daughter Krista. Many many years ago we visited the beautiful home of Karlie and Ginger and I´ll never forget while I was innocently playing in the backyard with the dogs, this train, and I mean it appeared out of NOWHERE else in my child mind, roared through the backyard and I started screaming and ran to the back porch, Karlie scooped me up and walked me down a path to show me that that the conductor was his friend and showed me how they wave at each other and all was ok. This was my grandpa´s (Franz) baby brother that treated me like gold the whole trip. Speaking of him, "Papa" also told me that whenever the older kids wanted something like ice cream on the way home and they all knew that if they set Karlie up to it, Grampy would easily cave in. I´m glad he had a wonderful rich life with incredible family members and children, grandchildren and great grandchildren . He will be missed.

I am so sad that Uncle Karl passed. I adored his sense of humor and the love he had for all you kids.... grandkids and the ultimate great grandkids. What a wonderful person. Loved by everyone. My dad had such a great love for his "baby brother'. Rest in peace Uncle Karlie. You deserve it. And your family has such beautiful memories to hang onto. Go be with your lovely wife who we all loved. Your niece Brenda Jobst Lefteris. My thoughts are with all of you.
