How do I say goodbye to you. I´ve known you since I was 10 years old. We were Little League All-Stars. We played Babe Ruth together. We hunted Whitetails and rabbits. We shared Thanksgivings. You were my brother in law. The memories of going up north rabbit hunting with your grandfather are etched in my mind forever. I remember he would always have a butterscotch candy for us at some point while we looking for bunnies. He had an airstream camper and Gary and me would get that thing rocking wrestling around. We used to take coffee can lids and throw them like frisbees and try to hit them with a whiffle ball bat. Skeeter, you can´t be replaced. Glad I saw you at Christmas time, though, I didn´t know it was going to be the last time I would. I always considered you one of my best friends. You were at my brothers funeral last March 26th. I needed that support and you were there. That meant a lot to me. I´m not going to say goodbye but I´ll see you later. You were a good friend all these years and I´ll miss you everyday Gary. May the good lord hold you in his hands. Say hi to Alvah, Ina and Boony for me. I´ll miss you buddy!!!

Gary was a long friend from the Eastside Drive days. Baseball. Hockey. Ice fishing. Lake Winne Derbys. Trips to Vermont. The adventures. The memories. The laughter. He is missed.

I am deeply sorry to hear that Gary has passed away. Gary and I went to elementary school together and grew up on the Heights. I remember Gary´s great sense of humor and his love for life, family and friends. My thoughts and prayers go out to Gary and his family during this very difficult time.

For 36 years I looked up to you Dad, your the man I aspire to be. If I could be just half the man you were, that would be fine with me. Your love never waivered, your patience never wore thin, I'll keep your spirit alive down here pops, untill we meet again. Rest easy buddy, I love you and miss you incredibly already.

Gary, Joshua & Kristina, As longtime friends we feel a great loss. As his children, we can only imagine. Your dad always made us laugh, smile and reminded us just how good life can be. Laughter and beer and Gary frying up venison while cutting meat. A driveway full of trucks. Cookouts, birthdays, anything to get together. And he could be a dancing fool. So many wonderful times, unlimited memories. My heart is sad but I grin with the fond memories. Thank you kids for sharing your dad with so many of us. Thank you Gary for making life so much funnier, easier, happier. Interesting? And I haven't even touched the memories from "The Lake". Someone else can do that. Gary, xo. We will miss you. Until then......
