Jane was my Catechism teacher at St. Staislause Church.
Jane was a kind and nurturing soul whose gentle guidance provided a steady example of how to lead with kindness and grace. The warmth she shared will be carried in my heart forever.

Mrs. Sadowsky was my teacher at Old Deerfield Elementary and my son had her as a substitute at Frontier. Whenever I saw her in town, it was like stepping back in time; she had the best memory and always remembered her students and their lives. She influenced many of us to go on and become teachers ourselves. She will be missed.

Yesterday
I was one of the many teachers Jane subbed for at Frontier. She would bring treats for the kids and often leave a small gift on our desks. When I heard of her passing I filled a basket with candy and brought it to school to pass out in her memory. As I shared the sad news and candy with my colleagues their immediate response was either " she was so sweet " or " she was so kind ". Jane made the world kinder and brighter. I will miss her smile and her quiet way.

Jane and I became friends and prayer partners after she made her Cursillo in 2024. I always knew that no matter what I was going through, that Jane was praying for me and I for her. Keep praying for me, Jane. And I will continue to pray for your family. Thank you for sharing your great faith with me and all who knew you.

Mrs Sadowsky was the first of May beloved teachers in Deerfield. She was always calm and caring - and her class felt like high expectations with low stress- maybe the last time I felt that! As an educator now I often think of her and attempt to emulate her presence. I hope her family knows that almost 41 years later, her impact is felt. Rest in peace Mrs Sadowsky.

Mrs. Sadowsky was my 3rd and 6th grade teacher at the Old Deerfield Grammar School. She taught me to be curious about the world and made me feel special, smart, and confident. That was a wonderful gift for a shy kid. I am a teacher now, and I try to do the same for my students. That's her beautiful legacy!

My condolences to Janie´s family. One song comes to mind that describes Janie, Hail, Mary, Gentle Woman. Janie had a heart of gold, so caring & loving. An angel here on earth. She was a dear friend.

This news brought great sadness to my family. Jane was a dear friend to the Don Moro family, and her kindness during our mother Fran's passing was just one example of the type of person she was throughout her life. Jane was special - she radiated goodness and compassion. A true woman of God, she was a role model to many. We send our deepest condolences to her family. ~Lisa Moro Ballou, Don Moro, and Alan, Anna, & Renee Ballou

Sent to my beloved Cursillo group:
Hi Jane!
I hear you are with Jesus now! I know that you are in your glory, thanks be to God, but we are here mourning the loss of a beautiful, wife, mother, daughter, friend, disciple in Christ. The list goes on.
I know you bypassed purgatory, but mum's the word.
I will miss your radiant smile, gentle spoken words of wisdom, and fortitude of faith, the deepest vows of love!
I love you dear sister in Christ! Please take care of your loving Don and children. Your newbie grandchild is blessed by your welcoming prayers.
Pray for us Saint Jane. Take away the sins of the world and restore the love that you have always shown brightly to all who came to your presence!

So sorry to hear about Janie's death. She will be missed, but if there was anyone who ever had a straight road to heaven, it would be her.
